Cutouts for undermount sinks

I created my first cabinet project with the CADimage cabinet plugin and used SEO to cut in this undermount sink. As you can see this method does not work as it cuts out the lip of the sink also. I know I could create an object without the lip, but the idea is to be able to show the lip and exact cutout to give fabricators exact instructions on the dimensioning. Is there a way to "shrink" the SEO cutout of the target object? If not, any ideas on how to achieve the desired result?

Thx,
Marc

Can you just reduce the flange dimension on the sink to 6mm (1/4") ? Or you could use another slab object of the desired dimensions to cut away the bench top, rather than use the sink as the SEO operator. Put this slab on a layer usually turned off. Of course this means also moving the slab if the sink position changes.

I model my bench tops separately from the base cabinets just using a slab, I can then cutout any openings for sink etc just using normal slab commands

I do the same. And I quit using the toe kicks. I just model it as a slab too for similar reasons, and it makes one less thing to configure.

Modeling a galley sink for example uses some SEO that can cut the toe kicks if they are part of the cabinet.
