Dimension lines change when exporting DWG

Hi there,
When I export a file to DWG and look at it, if I have used a dimension line that uses a witness line set up with a dynamic witness line, it ends up running the witness line all the way to the source of the dimension... In fact it does it in every case, unless I chose to have no witness line.

Is there some work around other than having no witness lines on my dimensions?

It didnt do this in v8.0

Update: the file opens perfectly in autocad, and earlier versions of archicad, but dim lines run all the way through when opened in AC 8.1 R2V2
