Export IFC with "trim elements to story range" - possible?

Hi,

I want to export an ifc file of one floor of my model. When in 3D view if I "trim elements to story range" I see exactly what I'm looking for. When I export to IFC and state all visibile elements, elements that span multiple floors come through untrimmed.

Is it possible to export an ifc with the trimming? I will be converting the IFC to Collada afterwards.
