As far as I know you will have to manually input the total number yourself.
The only way to get the total number is to create an interactive schedule to do the count.
However, an object has no way to access this schedule and is not aware of the other objects placed in the model, so it has no way to know the total number of placed lamps unless you manually tell it.
But if anyone knows a way to do it then please share.
