External IFC and DWG

Hello!
I've come across a situation I've struggled for times.
Back, in 2020, Februrary, I've had trouble with IFC hotlinks. Reimporting IFCs would cause trouble if the current column tool setting was a Corner.
If you had once imported your ifc Link with center, when you imported it again, IF only the toolbox had been once selected as a corner it would displace every column.
It was noted as GISS-782. I was told not to use custom importing definitions.

To that matter, there are some weird situations like, maybe I want the linked structural IFC to NOT show a slab a story and a story below, since I can't send it under other elements and cover them up. It shouldn't really be my duty to remodel an external work or explode it and work it Out every single revision. There should be some options to tweak a little the links...

Regarding DWG, countless times, external drawing dragged to the file will solve the problem. Unless, they have some sort of line type... You could just set the pen set and maybe set an override for line type, but we're only halfway there since we still have to explode it and fix the lines. every single time, sometimes dozens of files.

regarding the way we work with others, is there a plan to enhance those situations?

With the external DWG/DXF drawings, just like the user is able to setup the layers on/off in the "Selected Drawing Definitions" window, It would be great if we have the option to set linestypes conversions!
