Google, Objects, Sketch up, etc...

So I have been checking out Google earth, and Sketch up, and the Google 3d models.
I dont see how we can get the Google Objects into Archicad v.11, I have sketch up but then I dont see how to save them into a format that is compatable with Archicad v.11.
I thought maybe I read that you need to download a "goodie" and an Add on to make this work?

Any Help?
Thanks!

sure, try this...

and then you only have to import the *.skp into your archicad project..

the settings are a bit tricky, but it isn't too hard.

Thank you.
Now i have that add on, but I guess I dont know how to use it.
It's not as simple as loading it in the library is it?
As far as importing I only see options for DWG and DXF.
I think I need more help or a link to instructions.

Actually, this is not the correct add-on for bringing in Warehouse components (as objects). This add-on is for converting SketchUp surfaces into ArchiCAD building elements.

What Jesikuh needs/wants is the Google Earth Connections add-on. It reads directly from Google Warehouse, but also directly reads skp files, converting them to objects.

If both add-ons are installed, there will be two *.skp items in the Open and Merge menus - one for each add-on. Again: the GEC brings the skp model in exactly as it is, including materials, as a single object. The SketchUp add-on converts surfaces, adding thickness/etc - for converting a building envelope into walls, slabs, roofs, etc.

Jesikuh: both add-ons have complete PDF help files describing how to use them. For SketchUp add-on, the PDF will appear in your Help menu list. For GEC, it will appear in the GEC submenu.

Thanks! I was all confused, I coudnt figure out what was going on with bringing the objects into AC still, they came in as parts and were a PITA, I was trying to go through sketch up with each object and save it as a single entity, and all kinds of stuff. I am going to down load this right now!
Thanks Guys.
