IFC Export: Filtering certain building materials

Hello everyone,

One of the collaborators had some requirements for the IFC file we have to provide.
One thing was to try to remove the "Air" part of the composites. It seems its difficult for them to get the right quantities out of the composites.
Another one was to provide an IFC without the core elements of the composites. I know its possible to export just the core, but i can`t figure out a way to export just the finish part (keeping the composites ,avoiding making a separate slab).

Is any of this possible? I tried with different ifc translator setups but nothing so far.
Was anyone in this kind of situation before?
