[I edited this entry because I mixed up two trials on conversion. This is what happened. Sorry for the confusion I may have caused.]
I made some 10 drawings in Adobe Illustrator 11.0 of an egg-shaped polygon that I want to transfer to AC 8.0. (It are floorplans, all of slightly different shape)
When I save it as .dwg or .dxf and import it into AC, the polygone gets truncated. Two ends of the curve are drawn, but at about halfway these parts are connected by a straight line, where the curve should continue.
When I paste it as a pict, it is not smooth, but consists of small pieces of lines, which do not form a nice bezier-curve. The polygon I have drawn is made up of less than 10 anchor-points.
So basicly the question is: How can I get a smooth line with little anchorpoints imported from Adobe Illustrator in AC?
