Import model from 3d warehouse error

I am trying to import a model from the 3d warehouse with the Google earth connection add-on. When I go file/Google earth connection/import model from 3d warehouse/ I get an error that says "some error occurred during import, check report window for details." I go to the report window and it says "Googlewarehouseconnector.apx warehouse client could not be created." I double checked that the add-on was installed correctly and it seems to be; I am wondering if anyone else has run into this and what to do about it. Thanks,

You're obviously on a PC, since this add-on is only available for Windows ... but you might indicate what version and build number of AC you are using...

Sorry,I am using AC 11/constructor 2008/ 4gb/xp pro sp3
