Hello,
I have a ifc file with multiple buildings - a city model- and when I try to import the file in archicad, it wants me to choose one of the buildings ( I can´t choose multiple at once).
Is there a way to import the whole ifc file at once?
Thank You very much!

Hi,
I'm facing the same issue - so I'm reviving this question.
Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

I should caveat that I have never dealt with a situation like this before, so take my suggestion with all the credulity it deserves.
It's a bit of a longer drawn out way of potentially doing it, but have you tried importing them as seperate buildings as it wants to do - into, or as separate files, and then hotlink each of them into a main fail and then bind the modules to the mail file once done?
Maybe there's something about how archicad's IFC importer imports geometry that limits how many buildings it can take or bring in during one import session and the way around it is to do it piecemeal, one at a time.
Not ideal, but if it works, I guess that would be the way to go. And probably something to suggest to them for improvement and development in future IFC import functionality.

Hi Folks,
I can offer a workaround. An University in Germany (KIT) has developed a Viewer who can read IFC or even CityGML files and export them as 3D DWG or STL . These can be imported in AC as one and converted to Morph then.
If you are lucky you have Rhino as well to optimize the file for AC.
Good News: it is freeware!
Bad News: Windows only
