Improved font smoothing for Snow Leopard

For Snow Leopard users who use monitors not manufactured by Apple...

I'd been noticing some eye strain since upgrading to SL but didn't realize what it was. This MacWorld tip explains it - they changed the font smoothing. I just used the setting in the tip and find my Viewsonic LCDs much easier to read, so thought I'd share:
