Gabor:

I'm eagerly awaiting the results of your efforts regarding the Rosetta fix. Are you able to be more specific as to when...one month, two months...?

Thanks!

I don't have an exact date yet, but I wouldn't go as far as two months.

Gabor,
I am enquiring more about the development/future of maxonform rather than the mactel version. Will it soon be possible to apply different materials (if only as basic refferance colours) to a maxonform model. I have cinema4d and do not use maxonform as it forces you to have your object all one material which makes it quite useless for me - the 3ds import/export plugin for archicad has supported multiple materials for years - why is the maxonform plugin so limited? Also it would be of great benefit if you could import 2d lines dwg into C4D/maxonform as archicad is much better at creating 2d profiles but C4D is much better at actually using them to make 3d objects. I assume you are in contact with maxon, could you investigate this possibility please. If those 2 wishes came true then it would deffinately be the answer to a lot of problems.

Thanks, Rob

It is now more that two months since you said we should have Maxonform for intel macs. Can you give us any kind of an update as to when we can expect this product? Quite frankly, I am so tired of the pathetically bad communication that I intend to switch to Revit after this semester if I don't see some progress soon. I paid for MaxonForm on a students budget and so far I have been completely unable to use it. I sold my PowerPC mac because you said we would have Maxonform by september. Apparently I have learned a valuable lesson about trusting your company.

For AC10 on windows I believe its been out for a while. for AC10 on Mac PPC its been out also for a while but for MAC Intel its still dragging its feet and if any one says its going to be out in the next couple of weeks then you will be just as disappointed as me after I've heard the same story for the past almost SIX months now! Don't expect it ant time soon especially since GS has now been bought by their arch rival and also the proprietor of MAXON and VecorWorks and ALLplan and other fun stuff which will at least slow down any development for a while until it can pickup again depending on what one thinks is the good corse of action from the german parent.

good hunting

PS- I definitely join the ranks of customers whom are SCREAMING for MAXONform for MAC Intel NOW!!!!!

Hi Gabor,

This is great news! BUT where????! I think I have looked every where and I, for the life of me, cannot find the upgrade. Please give us a link to the correct page or something so one can start using the soft. And good luck with the new organization.

best

Neither MaxonForm versions are available for download.
To get a copy please contact your local partner. (Make sure you get a Universal CD - there should be a stamp on it indicating this.)

If you are looking for the add-on only version, then you can find it here:

Gabor,

Thank you for the info. I have recently moved to Shanghai and was wondering if you have a retailer in the area either Shanghai, Peking or Hong Kong? that way I can get the CD here and not have to wait until I go to Eurpoe the next time.

Thank you for you're help and sorry fo my frustrated coments earlier.

THANKS!

best,

felix b.
