Missing IFC classes in Archicad.

Hi all,

Following the IFC4 schema we want to implement classifications for exports as close as possible to the standard but it seems that Archicad only provides a somehow restricted list of IFC classes - which makes the IFC handling not easier!  We miss for example "IfcDistributionPort"; important for our medical equipment coordination workflows.

As far as we know we can not just add classes e.g. in the IFC Project Manager.

Does anyone encounter similar mapping problems?

What are your workarounds?

The IFC Entities you can address from Archicad don't allow the full IFC scheme. You get the IfcRoot > ... > IfcProduct > IfcElement and IfcSpatialElement branches, but not the IfcPort branch.
