Origin, when Exporting IFC

Anonymous
Not applicable
When exporting IFC, is there some point of origin I can maniulate?

We use this IFC as a reference model in Revit, but now I've:

1. lowered the model
2. rotated the model
3. moved the model

If I update the IFC reference model in Revit with this new file, it will not be at the same place.

Is there something I can set in the file, so that it's placed correctly?

There must be some kind of origin and north vector. Not sure about the terminology;)

Hello famadorian,

Open Archicad Library
Search "North"
And use the ifc North
Then you have to check your ifc translator to be sure about your origin parameters
Autodesk don't use GPS coordination about an origin so there is this object for openbim collaborations

Finaly there is no reason to do a scale between revit and Archicad because a BIM model is modeling in 1:1
