Problem with importing point cloud E57 format

Hello everyone and thank you for looking at this post !

I've been using a drone to do 3d surveys for architectural purposes, I use metashape to create e57 format point clouds and I usually have no problem importing them into archicad in order to work.

But here I can't seem to understand why but when I import the point cloud it creates a long tunnel of points without any coherence. Image attached to this post. I really have tried everything, redoing the point cloud a very large number of times, it is time consuming and it's always the same result..

Any idea on how to solve this issue ?

Thanks for your time !

Have you used CloudCompare to see how the cloud looks?

This looks like the structure of the .e57 might be damaged.

Open it in CC and repair it. If it is really big I tend to cut the pieces apart so I can just show subparts in Archicad. AC doesn't handle very big PCs nicely...
