We needed to do a quick survey of a site to set out a recently built sports field onto our site plan.
We really didn't want to do a detailed manual survey as the terrain was quite rough.
I downloaded an app called Theodolite. It captured all the points in a .kml file.
The .kml file opened up as Places Marks in Google Earth
I then save the 'places' as a .kmz file.
Archicad 19 opens up these .kmz files seamlessly, with the places neatly labelled 🙂
