I am having problems exporting from Archicad 26 (latest version fully updated) to sketchup (latest version fully update).
The file crashes sketchup on opening. I have tried to export files with small simple geometry, and I have the same issue.
I can export to Sketchup 8.0 format which does everything I need, but I am wondering if anybody is having the same issue.
Thank you in advance.

I posted something similar but had no response.
Here's what I found works: When saving out, you have the option to choose the Sketchup version. Choose SketchUp 2020 and that will open. 2021 out of ArchiCAD causes SketchUp to crash.

From the 3D window, use File > Save as to save the Archicad model in .skp format.

So, this is a glitch. Graphisoft tech support says they have seen this problem before. What has solved it in the past is an uninstall/reinstall of AC. Unfortunately, that procedure did not remedy my situation, so I'm still looking for a solution.

As a workaround for now, You can save the file to 25 ver. and from Archicad 25 you may find .skp in save as list.

I'm guessing this is a Silicon coding issue/bug by GS. The .skp option sits just above the Google option in AC26 Intel on my Mac.

Might well be, DGSketcher. It's not a file issue, as the problem is consistent with a new default Graphisoft template file. Nick is moving it to the developers' desks. When we have a solution, I will acknowledge here.

Makes me glad I stayed with Mactel version on my M1 Max.
