Saving files in V10 from a Mac on a W2003 SBS server.

We are experiencing problems when saving files from a MacPro (2x2,66 Xeon Intel/3 GB RAM) running OSX (10.4.8 ) on a W2003 SBS fileserver. When it saves it makes a new filename and a new copy of the file.

Have anyone had this problem?

Guess: permissions problem on the server. Such problems are often mentioned, sometimes with solutions on the site

that has been controlled.

The problem only occurs from archicad, no other files from this user.

Ok. Apparently Archicad thinks the file that it has opened is read-only, so when you select the Save command, it defaults to Save As. I you're working in Teamwork, try to isolate the problem by creating a Solo project (.pln file), save it to the server, open it remotely like you describe, and save again. If the same issue occurs again, it's not a Teamwork problem.

It might be a bug. I'd contact the reseller and ask for support.

Thank you!

Somehow I solved it. I upgraded everything on the server, reestablished the user, aso. Now it works.
