This is one of those questions that begs for more information. Can you back up a step and explain why this would be useful?
The benefits of BIM of course are live extraction of data from the model. If you want to bring schedules in from external sources...what processing would you want to do with that data within AC that you need to read the data into an object? If it is a static schedule, just bring in a PDF file.
It is more typical that users want to extract data from the model and join it with additional database information externally and then place the final formatted result (via PDF file placement on a layout).
