Sharing work & models, without sharing libraries

So, continuing on with my previous postings, if I were to send out a model, and some one had ArchiCAD and wanted to look at it and move it around, I would have to send my libraries with it?

I dont want to send our purchased libraries out to people and other firms, right?

How do I work around this?

If I dont send the libraries, then the model will be missing parts? Correct?

Thanks!
Jess

Do you really need to send a model ? Send drawings. If you are asking about some sort of protection there is none (as far as I know.

Save as PLA (archive) format, then all relevant library parts are embedded into the file.

How about Stairs or Mesh created by Cigraph or Elements created by CadImage?
Thanks,

get the zeramtt engine, it's a fantastic way to share the model without actually sharing library parts if u don't wish.

I saved my model as an archive, I opened the archive in archiCAD and it was missing things, railings roofs, etc... and giving me errors, I skipped through the errors and the objects that were error-ing did not appear.

I tried to open it in Sketch Up and it said it doesnt support the file type.

What are the other 3d formats that were suggested and how do I use them?

Thanks!

when you save as Archive, you have to click "Options" and check "Include all library parts".
