Strange, I keep reading in topics about Revit Structural.
Maybe a lot of people are not aware of Tekla Structures.
Anyway I think that these are great news since I've seen tekla in real life action (builded project) and I was amazed.

PS. The GS links to the manuals are not working so I don't have knowledge of the way the 2 apps are connected but still it's a step forward.

Helo!
I tried downloading the manuals but seems the link is down.
Any luck?
Has anyone tried the "dynamic duo" 😉?
This realy is some serious stuff. Having an seeamles conection with an structural software will draw more attention to engeniers and not just architects!

On the Tekla web site, I saw a price label. For the Tekla Lite limited time offer, they charge USD 12,000. Brrr!

...and is only available in the United States.

Curious why such a big announcement would have web site links to documentation that do not work?

Well as for the availability I am not quite sure it is only available in US, since I know a construction company here in Greece that owns it (not sure what version they were using because it was one year ago).
As for the price I also agree it is quite high.
Since noone has seen the way AC works with Tekla we cannot comment yet, but we can comment the move GS makes towards a high-end structural application.

By the way..Scott how do you keep track every time the word R*v*t is mentioned in a topic?

Are you shure abouth this. Must be a mistake. Structural modelers are abouth 2000-3000$, no way this is fair price!
