‘Template File for Additional Settings’ causes crashes

Seems that setting up a ‘Template File for Additional Settings’ in DXF-DWG Translation Setup may result in crashes when trying to export DWG file from ArchiCAD. Any ideas why? Any similar experiences?

we had a template working fine for about a week - now it crashes every time, and we're on mac. haven't had time to troubleshoot this one. any input from others would be appreciated!
