Unable to place schedule in seperate .pln from original .plp

As is often the case this has probably been answered before and i just can't find it! So apologies if that is the case.

As the subject describes, I have numerous schedules which have been created in a teamworks file (they are all working wonderfully).
All i want to do is in a seperate solo project file, using the 'project chooser' - place a window schedule on to a layout.
If the teamworks file is already open, i get generating/updating drawing then eventually 'drawing is unavailable'. I have also tried placing the schedule with the teamworks file closed, with the same end result.

I suspect it is one of those odd AC quirks, where i am not using the correct trickery to get it to place the schedule. What would be great is if someone could tell me what the trickery is?

Thanks in advance.

Dan.

In the file of the schedule create a View from the schedule.
Then try to place the View as a Drawing on the Layout.
