View does not take changes made in View List

Hi all,
I create a View List. There I make changes to listed fields like Scale, Pen Set, Layer Combination.
When I go back to the View Map, I find the changes did not actually occur.
Anybody else experiencing such behavior?
This is on AC12.

No, I modified my template using that technique and all of the updates applied to the views. Maybe it is platform dependent?

I can't reproduce that either in both US and INT versions on win XP SP3.
