XRef layers

It's impossible to delete some layers that are come from an xref as you can see on the attached file.
Why ?
Is it a bug ?

As long as the Xref is stil Xrefed, I don't think you can delete its layers. You would have to unlink it first.

i have the same problem. Even if i unlink all the xref's, can't delete the x-ref layers.
when the x-ref where "detached" we choose not to kept the x-ref attributes.....

Any ideas?

thank you for your answers which confirms the impossibility of erasing these xref layers.
So for me it's a bug.
I am in phase synthesis on an important project, I tested many solutions, xref, external drawing, none give whole satisfaction, damage.

You can erase them. Try reattaching the Xref file.... then detach it using Xref manager. The layers wil be gone.

that's the key to it: x-ref layers can only be deleted using the x-ref manager to detach the x-ref itself. otherwise they will sit in the file as locked orphan layers. it was an oversight on graphisoft's part that the new x-ref category of layer does not show in the attribute manager.
