archi-11 translator to autocad

Anonymous
Not applicable
i have been racking my brain for days on this one... i have tried practically all the options on the translator.... what i need is:
1. drawing to show in model space at 1:1
2. archicad layout to be placed in autocad paper space as it appears in archicad.
3. lineweights to be correct

any suggestions

I would use an Autocadish pen set and then the KeepIndexNumber translator. much easier to control and maintain.
I have two Autocadish pensets. One with both the same color and linewidth as Autocad, to be able to see exactly how it looks, and one with the same linewidth but all colors set black, to se how it will look at plot time. It's very easy to exchange these pen sets when needed.

To get what you want at export, you should use the Paper Space with Xrefed drawing (or similar) setting. You should get a paper space with viewports looking like Archicad's views, and complete model space 1:1 drawings as well, looking like your project's floor plans and sections etc.

The Archicad Reference Guide is too short on this, but the Help file text is very good, recommended reading.
