License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. I don't believe you can limit the items shown in a schedule by using a marquee.

Change the ID of all the doors in each area to start with a unique code eg A-DOOR-01, or B-DOOR-01 etc, and then limit what the schedule will display by adding an extra criteria that looks for ID's starting with 'A-' or 'B-' etc.

Hello,

Select marquee in the plan and right click "Show selection in 3D". Then in the 3D window select all the doors and open the schedule. It should contain only
the selected ones.

Hope this helps.

I can't get that technique to work for me, Juha.

The only way I know to schedule just the objects that you have selected is to select them in the floorplan window, then right-click on the relevant schedule and click the 'List Floor Plan Selection Only' option that appears in the menu. This doesn't work from the 3d window.

This statement isn't quite correct - To select a group of doors within a specific area you could place a marquee that surrounds them, use 'find & select' with Marquee criteria set to 'Inside Entirely' and Element Type set to 'Door' to select just the doors, then use the 'List Floor Plan Selection Only' option to display them in a schedule.

I didn't suggest this originally as I believed the original poster was asking to schedule just the doors in a particular block, and so it would make sense for the objects in each block to start with a unique ID for easy identification. If you just wanted to select a temporary group then use the 'List Floor Plan Selection Only' method.

I hope that's a little clearer!

Hello,

Peter is absolutely right - the 3D selection has no effect on
schedule - works only in the lists

Thanks Peter for correction.

It used to work. If you selected by any method only some of the items in the schedule, only those selected were included in the schedule.
I still miss this feature.
