no data (volume, area) for morph object

Not applicable
Hello, I made some odd-shape wood beam by Morph tool, but seems morph has no data (voloume, area etc) shown in Schedule.
Any way to measure morph element? or any way (other than morph) to make such odd-shap beam with Data?
Thanks

Morphs have their own fields for Area (by storey) and Volume (by Storey), which are different to the fields for other elements and objects.
So you will need to add those fields as well - they will then be blank for the other elements.

If you are using version 24, you could try using a segmented beam.
You should be able to to create beams with various segment sizes and tapers.
Here is one simple example.

Thanks Barry, I will try your way later, but:
I tried for simplicity to extrude along a path, (segment lines plus curve), but finally still cannot be solidified and have a volome data, is there any suliton for that?

Thanks

I think I got it, the line should be smooth (tangent at turning point, say 3point curve or spline)
Many Thanks Barry
