problems with calculated length and quantities of beams
Thanks andro55 for your reply but putting the auto sum only gives me the total length of all the beams . what i'm after is a summarised total of the quantity of the same length/type beams with it's individual length in the same row
this is so i could order timber straight from the one schedule example

In the Schedule Fields panel, switch the positions of the Length Right and Quantity fields so that the Quantity field will be summed while the Length Right field is set not to be summed.

I think this is probably the closest you will be able to get with these Schedules.
There is no way of producing that exact "15 150x50 @5000" text in the Schedule itself, except possibly with the help of GDL Scripting.
