AFAIK, this is not possible. It is possible with Curtain Walls, Stairs, Railings and the new Column/Beam tools as they are "system" tools, which are hierarchical in nature.
However, the object-based tools (doors, windows, objects) are in themselves scripts and there is nothing foreseen to describe their IFC hierarchy upon export. Alas.
This is for once something where Revit seems to provide a better solution, if you follow a very specific way of modelling using nested families. It is tricky and prone to errors, though.
