Does Archicad 26 has up and down lights?

I would think you ask in regards to rendering. Open the lamp tool and look in the General Light Sources folder. There you can use Area and spot lights for up or down lights.

Thank you Carsten, this is helpful and would work for rendering well. However, I am more interested in up and down light fixtures as a design component. It will be great if we can have the ability to start lighting design within Archicad and if we canāt take it up a level, then we can collaborate through other applications for further design development

Right, then you have to import certain lighting fixtures you are after, if you can't find them in the Archicad Lamp library. Have a look at this link, there are a lot of library part and many of them are in Archicad .gsm format. It is quite hard to find what you want as there is no search and only categories you can click on at the right hand side. In the below link I clicked on lamps (all).
Free 3D Models and Objects Archive. Download: 3ds , obj , gsm , max models (archive3d.net)
Thenyou have to click trhough the page numbers below, hope this helps.
