Cineware issue: Transperancy on Bitmap Trees using Distant Fog not so Transperant :(

Hi guys.

Im getting really fund of the Distant Fog feature, with Cineware, since this easy can grey out a rather dull background, on fast and early exterior renders. (And simulate a recognizable Scandinvain scene 😉 )

However the Bitmap trees with Transperant Background tend to loose some of their transperancy, adjusting the Opacity in the Tree object, will only relate to the actual tree image, and not the tranperant background/Bounding box. Does anyone know whether this could adjusted correctly?

Just be adding "Use Physical Render" and leaving the settings as default i got the result/solution.

Dig down to the detailed rendering settings and put on "physical render". You should get better results with opacity/transparency with trees.

Also this article was posted just yesterday.

Maybe this setting is what the 'Physical Render' is changing.

Thanks for passing on that article Barry 🙂 Things are indeed moving fast in here. Yesterday I had a chat with Customer Support about this peculiarity - I guess it was passed on, or else this article is just some coincident  😉

Unfortunately the issue still occurs when using Distant Fog, even though Exponential has been turned of!
