3D document dimension marker changes scale when placing on layout.

I am dimensioning a 3d document and all is well until I place it on a layout, The dimension marker's scale changes. Please assist

Make sure you save a view of that 3D document with the scale set as you want it.
Then you add that view to the layout page.
