3d Document Render and Save as Part of Project

Is it possible to save the actual rendering of a 3d document inside ArchiCAD, as part of the projects documentation?

I don't see how to do that. I can create a 3d view and save it inside ArchiCAD, but can also the render be saved in there, so that it's actually stored on the BIM server as part of the project?

From when I have researched there isn't a way, you have to save it out and then import it back into the project.

However If there is a way I would be keen to know.

Save your 3D view, then in the settings for that view you can tell it to generate in the 'PhotoRendering Window' rather than the '3D Window'.

You can also set the rendering scene you want to use.

But beware at this neat trick: If you place it on a layout you should set the update method to manually. Otherwise everytime you open the layout it will get rendered again.
