After you insert the autotext go to Project Info(in AC11 it's File/Info/Project info, not sure about AC10). Click in the field next to the entry you want to change.(This field will be empty) If you want it blank just hit the space bar. This will tell AC to show just an empty space after the revision # that you put in when you inserted it. Thus it will be blank.

That was like common sense. Too easy, I thought there would be some secret screen that only Experts on this forum knew about. Because all the defaults were displayed as #(NAME) except the DATE OF ISSUE ##/##/#### And you could highlight the text in the Preview Box but couldn't edit it
