I have been creating some custom (2D) objects lately. Some of which were created using the Library Part Maker and some of which were built from scratch using GDL.
Although both 'types' have a preview picture defined, when creating a favorite based on the object, they behave differently:
- "GDL type" object has preview for favorite
- favorite does not show for favorite based on "Library Part Maker type" object
Anyone knows what causes this behavior? It is the same on different machines/installations of Archicad 27...

When you see a question mark in the favourite preview, it is usually just a matter of re-loading the library in Archicad.
It means the object the favourite is referring to has changed, but the library has not been re-loaded.
So long as the object is in the loaded libraries it should appear.
Barry.

Hi Barry,
thank you for the response.
If you are referring to the pink '?' - I drew that on the screenshot myself. 😅
I don't have any 'missing' objects, but I do have blank preview pictures when making a favorite. Only happens when making favorite of an object created with the Library Part Maker.
FYI: I already opened the malfunctioning objects in GDL Editor and created a custom Preview Picture (which shows in the actual Object Library - see first screenshot)
