Importing .E57 point cloud problem in AC28

I am having trouble importing point clouds in Archicad 28 (3120).

The same .E57 files (tried several) import without problems in Archicad 27 (5003).

After selecting my point cloud, it is working for a second and then throws an exception from LP_XMLConverter. Problem report is attached.

I checked permissions, since macOS gets more pernickety every version, but can't find anything wrong there. Archicad 28 has full disk access, just like 27. I am not aware of other permissions that this depends on.

Has anyone else had problems like this in 28? Any solutions? My workaround for now will be just importing in AC27 and generate the LCF, so it kind of works but still annoying.
