Cabinet doors obscure shelves

I sometimes need to show partially opened cabinet doors in internal elevations but find that thrse are partially obscured by the doors, creating very untidy and potentially confusing views. I seem to remember being able to show obscured shelves behind cabonet walls and doors in older Cadimage joinery versions. Can this still be done and, if so, how?

Should Archicad defaults automatically show obscured elements as hidden?
