Detail callouts and losing 2D information

Hi!

I am trying to create building details so i created 7 detail callouts in a section, so im going to explain how i did in order to see what am i doing wrong:

1. I opened the section from the view map (which has a more simple look because of an override, and that would make it easy as a starting point for my details) and placed 7 details. They all got created in the Project Map.

2. I placed my sections in a layout.

2. I opened them in the project map and got them at the scale i want ( i realized i could not control some things like GO's or Renovation Filters). Due to some inconsistencies in the 3d model, some errors show on those details, so i started cleaning the drawing in the view map and started detailing with lines and fills.

At some point i clicked "rebuild from model" and all my 2D lines (or most of them) were gone. It went back to the horrible starting drawing but kept some of the fills i had done.

My question is: What am i doing wrong in the workflow? Also, If i want to start some details by a specific section i have, the callouts produced will always have the Graphic override's of the section from where they originated?

Right now i even copied the section to a worksheet, so i dont loose everything again!

Cheers,

Z
