Edit text style of multiple fills or levels

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue which I'm sure didn't exist before.
Lets say I have a hundred fills, and I decide to show the area of every fill.
Before, if I wanted to change the text style I just had to select all the fills and then add one text to the selection. Then edit the text and the changes would apply to all fills.

Now though, when I add the text to the selection, I don't have the option to edit the text.
Basically I have to select every text one by one, and then change the settings of all at once.

It's the same with levels (and probabaly other tools)
If I have multiple levels I would like to change to show Sea Level altitude, I have to select the texts one by one...

Anyone has an idea what went wrong?

I would really appreciate your help!

Hello,

On the archi-CADlink (French forum) the same question was asked almost two years ago and I found a tip

Select all fills or all levels or … and double click on the text tool

I hope this solution can help you

Nothing has changed as far as I know.
I just tried in Windows version of Archicad 24.
Please provide information on your operating systems and Archicad version when you ask a question as it may have an effect on the answer.
Best if you add the info to your profile signature.

Select all the fills, SHIFT+Click to select one of the texts and the info box changes to the text tool settings where they can all be edited.

The double click of the text tool also works - brings up the text settings dialogue.

Hi again!

Thanks a lot for your replies.

Merci Yves, I tried searching, as you did, but failed to find any solution.
Double clicking the text tool does work! Saved!

Barry, indeed it would be strange that this would have changed.
It used to work before.
Could it be a bug with the build we installed at the office? => AC24 build 3008 (french) on Windows.
We have 12 PC's with the same version of AC and having the same "issue"

It could be peculiar to the FRE version - especially if it is happening on all of your machines.
It is working OK for me with the AUS version.

Maybe similar to an issue I had with level dimensions and my workaround?
