Elevation Dimensions

Is there a way to add to the dimensions. Here 0'-0" we call 100'-0". So we have to change all dims to custom text and manually type the dim in.

1) Set one of your Reference Levels to -100'-0".

2) In your Vertical Dimension settings, make sure the Dimension Origin is relative to this Reference Level.

...and the result:

(the "EL." was added in the Dimension Text dialog, the Dimension value is AutoText)

How do i make Elevation dims stop putting (Elevation) after the dim

That's just the default setting (for whatever reason); unfortunately, (as far as I know) you can only change it after the dimension is placed. You can simply select all vertical dimension text and modify in one step (again, as far as I know, inheriting and transferring properties does not work). I wish we could save Dimension Text Settings as Favorites...
