Hi!
Im trying to annotate dimensions on a complex profile wall (2cm plaster/stone/2m plaster), but the snap point does not grab the exact corner of the wall but a point dislocated 2cm from the corner, on the exterior line of the wall. This only happens when i have windows on those walls. It looks like archicad draws the 2cm plaster around the hole of the window but then it does not recognize it as a grabbing point.
I already had the same trouble while modeling and i even had to design the slabs having those points in consideration (instead of the actual finished corner), which gave me some room for mistakes.
What am i missing?
Cheers,
Z

That point is the point to the rough opening on the wall. Everything else in between is shim + window. Archicad does not let you set your dimension to the wallboard. You'd probably need to create a detail to call that out. But the point your referring to in this case is the measurable rough opening point.

That would be more a Window / Door issue than a Wall issue as the skin wrapping is part of the windows 2D representation.
