I am starting to use the Generic Label 18 for labeling. Specifically here is the Beam Tool. I have Use Geometry Data and ID to specify the Beam. The preferred in Sections and framing plans is to have the Dimension setting unit as "feet & fractional inches". With this setting the beam depths that are greater that 12 inches are documented as in the case below as 1'-4 1/2". We like our beam depths to be in inches.
If the Dimension setting unit is set to "decimal inches", that corrects the beam depth, but will than not display the other dimensions like walls in the "feet & fractional inches" the way we like.
Is that just the way it is going to be?
