Graphic overrides for lines

I had a line not appearing in the correct colour.  It turns out the setting for this was under the graphic override 'cut fills'.  This is ridiculous.  A line is neither cut, nor is it a fill.  There should be a separate graphic override for lines not associated with fills.

Can you show a screen shot of your rule settings.

Is the criteria set for Element Type is All Types?

That 'All Cut Fills' rule is not changing the line colour.

But the 'DA' combination is also running 3 other rules.

Check those and see if any of them are set to change the pen colour.

Also check that there is not a renovation filter active as lines can be affected by those as well.

For safety reasons:

This info bubble lists every rule that fits the rule criteria for the hoovered element.

So this listing does not mean that this rules do anything, but these rules are to check if sth. is awkward.

The rule sorting is the same as in the GO definition; and they are applied from bottom to top.

Good tip @Stefan L_ .

@Mark Davis , hover your cursor over an affected line and the info box will show you what graphic override rules are being applied to that line.

For even more safety:

Non-active Design Options might be faded...

 

... but this might be "over-highlighted" if it's an Elements with an Issue (the brown thingy)...

... if the issue has its eye open. In any case the issue is listed in that bubble (with its name if only one or like "(7)" if 7 seven issues).

The color is controlled in work environment:

So the thingy is occasionally:

- highlighted in brown by the issue

- faded to grey 'cause it's 'environment'

- turned to green by GO

- hoovered to dark blue

But its original color is:

Thanks for that.  When I hover over it I on't get the graphic override information.  And unticking the line box in the cut fills did fix the issue.
