How to avoid cutting Objects in Sections

Hello everyone!

Is there a way to avoid cutting elements (like toilets, sofas, tables, etc) in section. Meaning is there a way to tell archicad show this elements complete instead of cutting them?

Yes It will be easier, I'll do a wish on it but I'm going to prepare it, because I think we need a new dialog that let us overwrite the floor plan and section options of an element per view.
For Example, if we want to show a wall with dash line in one plan and solid line in another. Like partitions in public bathrooms for the reflected ceiling plan I like to show then in dash lines and in the layout plan with solid lines.

I am with you on that. Sections and Floor Plans should not alway have to be controlled by the same settings. This forces too many work-arounds to get the display we actually want.

In the Help files see: Elements of the Virtual Building > Parametric Objects > Create Patch Object.

This can be done using the Floor Plan Cut Plane (FPCP): set the Wall's Floor Plan Display to Projected with Overhead, the Uncut Lines to Dashed. If the FPCP cuts the wall it will be solid, if the FPCP is above the wall it will be dashed. This will need to be coordinated with any other elements controlled by the FPCP.
