Keynotes and lists

Ugljesa Janjic
Newcomer
Does anyone have experience with creating simple manual keynotes for the floorplans? All I know is how to use the label tool with an arrow, make it to be a text/number, and then create a text box on the sheets to manually enter all the text for each number.
I would like the Keynote to be a number in a shape and automatically populate the list.
Is this too much of wishful thinking?

How do you do it?

Thanks!

Save yourself a lot of trouble and take a look at our Keynotes tool – it will do exactly what you want.

There's also BimBakery's general KeyNote Tool.

What ^ he said.

I've used lots of different methods and the Cadimage Keynotes is the easiest and most robust. Spend the money and save time & headaches.

You could also try the MasterScript Total Keynotes. It's not as robust as CADImage, but it doesn't require any add-ons or licenses. It's just an object for the keynote and another for the legend, along with some exported lists.
