Printing a Layout to PDF

I have had problems Printing a Layout for some time. Now I am only getting part of the layout to print. This should be a 36"x24" sheet.

What could be the problem?

Looks like you need to change your paper size in Page Setup. You can do this in the Publisher set so it affects all layouts.

Cheers,

Yes. That's what it looks like. But I have all the print settings correct.
I have been able to Publish the layout ok to .pdf sometimes while I am trying to figure out what the problem is. I wonder if it is a file size issue or something. It takes a really long time to generate the .pdf. 20 minuets or so.

Why aren't you using the AC Publish to PDF option? I've used it for years. Works perfect every time and never had any complaints from recipients.
Apple iMac Intel i9 / macOS Sonoma / AC27UKI (most recent builds.. if they work)
Good question DGSketcher,
Perhaps I should be using only the Publisher when I am needing the entire Layout as a .pdf.

I am using the Adobe Acrobat 10 Pro for communication and collaboration purposes. So even small portions of the plan printed out using the marque tool need to be in .pdf. They are sent around to different people who are adding comments, and other data to the pdf.

There is also the convenience of printing directly to the Adobe Acrobat Pro for the sake of what I do with the .pdf's in that program.

It should work well either way I think. I should be able to select the Adobe Acrobat Pro as my default printer and have it work.

I have been using the Adobe Acrobat Pro for more than 10 years with no problems like this before.

Steve, have you tried printing through an alternative PDF maker just to compare? BullZip or PDF24 should do the job.

Could it be some setting in Acrobat itself that has gone screwy?

Hi Steve,
if you go to Print->Page setup->Properties
the dimensions stored for Arch D are correct?
I found that there was a printer called PDF Converter installed. I deleted it. Set Adobe PDF as the default printer and all is well again.
