Renovation Filter Issues

I am having problems with the renovation filter. I drew existing walls with the renovation filter set to "01 Existing Plan". Then I switch the renovation filter to "02 Demolition Plan" and as soon as I do anything to the drawing the renovation filter automatically switches back to "01 Existing Plan". I even set up a view with the renovation filter set to "02 Demolition Plan" in the view settings. And I have the same issue. As soon as I do anything to the drawing it automatically switches back to "01 Existing Plan".

I am running Archicad 15 on OSX 10.7.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
