Scheduler Woes...

Our office is going for the "1 project, 1 .pln file method, & I'm trying to set up our template use the schedule tool for as many schedules as possible. (so they're not in Sect/Elev or detail windows) I've run into a couple hiccups, however, & thought I'd see what anyone else might have to offer up as possible solutions or other ideas.

1. Continuous Footing Schedule
The best way I've found (so far) to accomplish this is using the Complex Profile Wall. I save a profile that's just the thickened portion of concrete below the slab I'm working with, give it an ID I want (like C01, for example) slap a label on it, & everything is fine on the floor plan. When I go to make a schedule for that, however, I find they're arent enough editable parameters available to import from the 'General' or 'Wall' lists to include the neccessary items (reinforcing sizes, notes, etc). The only ones available for custom editing are "Custom Text" 1, 2, & 3. Is there any way to add more without adding/loading parameters from a library part? Other Ideas?

2. Label Positioning
I downloaded the file Matthew Peychich was so kind to have posted because we too needed one with a fill that could cover up things on the plan. I found the leader line will stay put just fine, but the label itself wants to jump around everytime I zoom in or out. Others experiencing the same? Other thoughts?
