Stacking order limitation

Hello,

I'm beggining a serie of complaint, or maybe just, questions. We use archicad everyday at the orffice and we mostly love it.

But sometimes, there is some incomprehension about why the tool work like that, why this is it limited in this way, or why we can't do that.

Some already have been mentioned, so I will only talk about new topics and years old post without visible answer (as and add to the roadmap).

Please Archicad, hear us out, we love you, you are 98% awesome, but some little things are so frustrating and if you would give us an answer that would be really nice to you. I'm apologize in advance for eventual mistakes, english isn't my first language.

Second question :

Could you please extend the limitation of 14 level of stacking please ?

Like 0-50 Void - Your organization - 55- 100 Void

Or something like that ?

For the simple reason that archicad could be used for replacing illustrator il a lot of case, and this simple limitation make it an absolute pain.

Do you imagine photoshop with 14 layers where you would need to merge your layers and sacrifice your organization ? Everybody would hate it ... Well...

That would be cool if you would remove this limitation please.

The forum seems to be a far more open and easy way to talk about everydays issues and that would be really nice if the team herself would answer here and add the wishes ! (Exactly like McNeel for example).

Like that everybody could comment after it, and like, and say why it is important for them.

The wishlist seems to be an obscure section where apparently is hard to access ? But maybe it's a strategy from archicad to keep the vote number and the differents wishes low, and make people feel they are really a small number wanting a particular function and everything is already perfect lol !

But I don't think soooo ... Right ??

Do you have an active subscription linked to your Graphisoft ID (i.e. you are paying annual fees)?

If not, that is why you can not vote.

So people who paid perpetual license should not being able to talk ? They are often the more experimented one with the most experience, this decision is sad and stupid.

Yeah, that has been a complaint ever since the change a few years ago... though when I say "subscruption", having an active support agreement on an up to date perpetual license works too.

You can talk about what you want as much as you like in the forums.

No-one is stopping you doing that.

So, you can come up with all sorts of ideas that you think might help.

You just can't make wish that others can vote on and possible have it considered.

Or vote on other wishes that you think might be good.

I don't know your status, which is why I suggested the wishlist.

A perpetual license with no subscription means you are not updating your Archicad.

If you are not updating it, why do you care what features it has?

You will only ever get these new features now if you take out a subscription (you have no choice about that now).

And if you stop that subscription, you will go back to the old perpetual license and you won't have these features anymore.

That subscription is what is allowing Graphisoft to make these developments.
